About the Role

IBM is hiring an Application Developer – Oracle Cloud Middleware to join its Consulting Client Innovation Center in Kolkata. As a part of IBM Consulting, this role emphasizes collaboration, deep technical expertise, and impactful software development, supporting the AI and hybrid cloud journey for clients across various industries. You will engage in software design, implementation, testing, and support across the Oracle Middleware technology stack—particularly focused on data migration and integration using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement end-to-end software features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve product issues as per defined SLAs.
• Continuously learn new technologies and apply them in development.
• Handle complex data migration between large heterogeneous databases.
• Work with APIs, XML, and web services to facilitate data movement between systems.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: Master’s Degree
• Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years in ODI 12c development and implementation
• Hands-on experience with complex data migration across heterogeneous database environments (Oracle is a must)
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c
• Experience with integrating data using Web Services, XML, and APIs
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in handling large-scale data integration projects
• Understanding of cloud middleware best practices and Oracle Cloud services
